Whispers in the night,
Fights of the unknown of the untold.
Crawling through your mind like a snake.
Falling into the other realm,
Falling out of consciousness.
What will it be tonight?
Dreamless,
Sleepless,
Endless wishing.
Excitement,
Pain,
or neutral.
Will my mind rest,
or will it whirl around,
not stopping until wake is near.
Multiple wakings,
a sound sleep until morning,
or no sleep at all.
Falling,
Flying,
Finding new paths,
Unwinding.
